Roasted Okra with Cumin



500g okras


1 tbsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp olive oil, a pinch of sea salt


  1. Remove stalks from okras and rinse; pad-dry with kitchen towel; slit into halves
  2. Toss okras with olive oil, cumin, and salt in a baking tray
  3. Preheat oven at 180°C; roast okras for about 15 minutes until golden brown
  4. Sprinkle with a little olive oil and serve


Do not overcook okras
