Steamed Chinese Yam with Cordyceps Flowers



500g fresh Chinese yam, 40g dried cordyceps flowers。


2 tbsp first-extract soy sauce, 0.75 tbsp Zhenjiang vinegar, 0.5tbsp sugar, a dash of salt.


  1. Peel Chinese yam; rub on some salt; steam for 8 minutes; set aside for later use.
  2. Steam dried cordyceps flowers for 3 minutes.
  3. Cut Chinese yam into 0.5 x 4 cm strips.
  4. Transfer Chinese yam strips and cordyceps flowers to a big bowl and toss well with seasonings.


Feel free to use different seasonings as desired.
