Steamed Tofu with Peach Resin


Ingredients: 40g dried peach resin, 700g tofu


  • Group A : 1 tsp. sesame oil, 1 tsp. light soy sauce, 1 tsp. crushed brown slab sugar, 1 tsp. black bean soy sauce, some pepper powder
  • Group B : a pinch of sea salt, 1 tsp. vegetarian barbecue sauce, 1 tbsp. first-extract soy sauce – mix well


  1. Soak dried peach resin in water until soft. Rinse and drain.
  2. Marinate peach resin with seasonings (A) for an hour.
  3. Cut tofu into 2 cm cubes and place on a big plate. Add peach resin on top of the tofu. Steam for 12 minutes.
  4. Take the dish out and pour seasonings (B) over it and serve.


  1. Cook for 5-6 minutes if using a steam oven.
  2. You may soak a larger quantity of peach resin at a time and store in freezer for future use.
